DESCRIPTION:Cherokee Civic Theatre will hold open auditions for its upcoming production of "Anne of Green Gables" adapted by Jody Johnston Davidson from the classic novel by L. M. Montgomery. \n\n\n\nAuditions will be held Saturday January 6 @ 10 am & Monday January 8 @ 6pm in the historic Cherokee Theater in downtown Rusk\, TX (157 W. 5th Street). \n\n\n\nAuditions will be cold reading from the script.  Everyone of all sizes\, colors\, shapes & experience (including none) are welcome to the auditions.  \n\n\n\nDirector Marty Chute & Producer Judy Faye Garner are seeking a cast with:\n\n1 Male (age 40+)\n\n2 Females (age 40+)\n\n4-5 Females (ages 18+)\n\n2 Teen Females (to play ages 12-14)\n\n1 Teen Male (to play ages 13-15)\n\nand several youths (ages 10-14) for non-speaking roles.\n\n\n\nFor more information\, contact Cherokee Civic Theatre at 903-683-2131 or visit their website: www.cherokeetheatre.net or Like their Facebook page - Cherokee Civic Theatre.
