About Us

We are a therapeutic equestrian center located in Tyler, Texas, offering able-body horseback riding lessons and therapeutic horsemanship programs. Our mission is rooted in the belief that the art of horsemanship empowers individuals of all ability levels, fostering physical, emotional, and mental well-being. Owned and operated by Alexandria Hurd, a Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship International (PATH Intl.) certified Therapeutic Riding Instructor and Equine Specialist in Mental Health and Learning, Lakeview Equine-Assisted Services specializes in providing inclusive riding and non-riding experiences tailored to diverse populations. Our riding services include lessons for all ages and abilities, including therapeutic and adaptive riding programs designed to support individuals with special needs.

Our Equine-Assisted Psychotherapy services, offered in partnership with Life Milestones LLC, are led by Elizabeth Frisby, EAGALA Certified Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), and Alexandria Hurd, PATH Intl. ESMHL. These sessions are designed to support at-risk youth, survivors of trauma, and individuals facing significant life challenges. By partnering with horses, participants are provided a safe, non-judgmental environment where they can build trust, improve emotional regulation, and develop healthier communication and coping skills.
