Open Auditions for "Anne of Green Gables" at Cherokee Civic Theatre

Cherokee Civic Theatre will hold open auditions for its upcoming production of "Anne of Green Gables" adapted by Jody Johnston Davidson from the classic novel by L. M. Montgomery. 

Auditions will be held Saturday January 6 @ 10 am & Monday January 8 @ 6pm in the historic Cherokee Theater in downtown Rusk, TX (157 W. 5th Street). 

Auditions will be cold reading from the script.  Everyone of all sizes, colors, shapes & experience (including none) are welcome to the auditions.  

Director Marty Chute & Producer Judy Faye Garner are seeking a cast with:
1 Male (age 40+)
2 Females (age 40+)
4-5 Females (ages 18+)
2 Teen Females (to play ages 12-14)
1 Teen Male (to play ages 13-15)
and several youths (ages 10-14) for non-speaking roles.
